So today Mckenzie told us that she wanted to be "Lightyear" so we got dressed in our Buzz Lightyear costume, minus the gloves and shoes which are too big, and we went for a walk and went to the park to play. All the kids thought she was so cool and wanted to play with her, it was pretty cute. We had some people from a photography class taking pictures of her too. Unfortunately, that vinyl suit is super slick on the slide and we quickly learned that we have to catch her or else she ends up on her face in the dirt. But nothing is too hard for Lightyear!
I just thought everyone would like to see what our lovely weather was like on Thursday. It snowed all day long, I thought I was going to cry! Of course it all melted, but there were times during that day where everything was covered in white! What kind of place is this?!?! It is the end of April for crying out loud! That second picture Paul took, it is of me scowling at the snow storm. Mckenzie was fascintated by it of course, that is her hand on the window. And then the last two are my chocolate cake I made from scratch with homemade frosting too and Kenzie trying to go steal a taste, licking her lips. But good golly,if it snows again I am likely to do something really bad!

Ok, so as most people know, I love musicals and everything about them. I am not particularly, however, big fans of stage musicals that they make into movies. But there is one extremely amazing exception and that is Sweeney Todd. I have always loved the show, have had the old Angela Lansbury soundtrack for years and years, and I was way excited when I heard about this movie and cast and was totally amazed after seeing it. So if you can get past some blood (which in my opinion is done in a really cool way!) And see this amazing story with brilliant acting, costumes, designs, and gorgeous music, watch it! It has become my new weekly movie!
So last night Mckenzie and I were eating a bowl of chocolate pudding, and the bowl was about half way full. Well the phone rang and so I put the bowl down to go answer it and when I got back, she had eaten almost all of it! These pictures are of her finishing the last little bit. She is so silly! Needless to say we were too wired to go to bed for awhile!

This weekend we decided to go for a drive and try to find Mesa Falls, this huge waterfall that is supposedly not very far from here. Well, our adventure just took us for a very long drive and we couldn't find it. Once we hit the mountains there was still a ton of snow so we think the road to the waterfall was snowed over still. But Paul was snapping pictures of our road trip every couple of minutes so here are just a few of them.
Yesturday was such a pretty day, so we decided to go fly a kite. Mckenzie thought it was the greatest thing ever. I love the first picture, it looks like a little Christopher Robin shot. So cute! My three year old can fly a kite all by herself, pretty impressive huh?

Mckenzie has had lots of fun these past few weeks. Paul decided that she needed a bubble maker so he got her one and she just goes crazy! She tries to catch them with her butterfly net. We had our friends come over for dinner the other night and they have a little girl a year younger than Kenzie, and she was feeding rolls to her, it was pretty cute. I decided to make cupcakes yesturday and Mckenzie pulled a chair up and helped me. She liked eating them a lot. And the last picture is a couple weeks ago when I sprained my ankle. She was trying to wrap it and put ice on it for me. She is just too helpful!

Ok, so I decided that I needed my own blog to post all my artsy stuff on, so here it is, in all it's glory. Hopefully it will attract some people that want to hire me for something and pay me lot's of money! ( hey, it doesn't hurt to hope!)

I was looking through old photos of when Paul and I dated and of when Mckenzie was born, so I thought I would post a few of my favorite ones. It's weird seeing how much we have changed! That's it, I'm hitting the gym every day till I am a size 6 again!! Of course if I had to choose between having Mckenzie and having my waist back, I would choose Mckenzie any day! She was so tiny, she use to wear doll clothes!
