Christmas Continued..
Here are a few more pictures of Kenzie and her presents.

Merry Christmas!
We have had a good morning. Mckenzie loves her My little pony baby and her Baby doll from her Grandmas. She was concerned about the Baby Doll though because it cries a lot if you don't feed it or play with it, so she asks for help after a few minutes if she gets tired of it. It's pretty cute. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

The weather outside is frightful, and a fire would be delightful!!!
So our weather is completely crazy today! It has been dumping snow all day and shows no signs of stopping! The roads are so bad so we aren't going anywhere today. Maybe it is a good thing that we have to work the front desk all week. That is Paul in the truck plowing our parking lot, fun eh? He says it makes him feel manly using the big truck...quick, everyone grunt like Tim the Tool Man, ARRR ARR ARRR!!!! He He, Merry Christmas!!!

Happy Christmas Eve!!! Ok I just had to post a quick note to remind everyone of the most important task of tracking Santa! He was just recently in the Phillipines and has already visited a lot of places over in Asia! Here is the link:

Keep tabs on him so you know when to put the kids to bed! He, he!!

Puppies and Christmas Fun!
Mckenzie has been having lots of fun these past few days. A lady in our ward gave her a baby doll and a baby blanket, and she found good use out of the gift bag as a helmet for her bike. She also loves puppies and we had a lady stay at the hotel with two small labs that she got to play with. One of them liked her so much that she fell asleep on her lap! Paul and I have been sick for several days so we aren't having as much fun as her. Mckenzie has also started unwrapping presents under the tree that aren't even hers so we have had a little talk about that!

SANTA BABY!!!
Paul's mom sent Mckenzie this adorable santa dress that she wore to church yesturday. I couldn't get her to sit very still though and I couldn't get the pictures to flip so you have to turn your head to see some of them! We have been baking for two days trying to get our treats done to give away in little gift tins. We are making chocolate revel bars, chocolate truffles, ginger bread cookies, and hershey drop cookies. Needless to say the diet starts after the holidays!

Christmas Gift

A Gift From a Wiseman!

We got the neatest gift today! For several months now we have had an LDS german artist staying at our hotel who was doing all the mural work and gold leafing at the Rexburg Temple. He found out months ago that I was also a painter and so he said he would give us some flakes of gold leafing. Well we figured he had forgotten about it but tonight is his last stay at the hotel and he brought us this bottle with 24kt gold leafing from the temple! He filled it with baby oil so it would float and look neat. I just thought it was the coolest thing and it was like we got one of the wiseman gifts for Christmas!

LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!
Well the weather man has been saying for days that it was going to snow, and it never did until today! It has been snowing since last night, non stop and we are completely covered, as you can see! Mckenzie and I have been trying to win a doll house for her for Christmas on Ebay, that is what we are doing in our picture below. Remember those little Tikes ones from the 1990s? My grandma Gwen had the pink grandma house that matched it. Well we have gotten pretty close to winning one but I hate having to fight people to outbid them! GRRRR! We may have to settle for a new doll house at Walmart.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE OH CHRISTMAS TREE!!

Well we have had our tree up for over a week now so I thought I would put a picture of it on here. It is really pretty! We didn't know it was going to be so big though so we need to get more ornaments. We have just been too busy to go anywhere. I am doing finals right now so my head is kindof going crazy! But I am way excited because one of my Theater professors is doing a puppet making and theater mask making class for Winter term and I added it yesturday! I have always wanted to make puppets! Hope everyone has fun with their Christmas activities and Fa La La La La-ing!

HAPPY TURKEY DAY!!

Well I haven't posted anything for awhile so I thought I would put some new pictures up. We went to Oregon over Halloween and had a blast with my parents. Mckenzie really liked being a Dragon and she thought it was fascinating that people give you candy for free! Last year it was so cold in Idaho that she didn't get to trick or treat very long. Today for Thanksgiving it was just the three of us because we had to work, but we are all very stuffed so it was a good day! I just love the holidays because it is a time where families can all give unconditional love to each other and be able to put petty differences aside. People can come together and not be judgemental towards each other, but just be happy and thoughtful towards each other. It is simply my favorite time of year! Hope everyone is doing well!

This is a pretty river in Oregon.
Me and Mckenzie walking on the rocks by the river. She really wanted to go in but it was freezing.

YAY! We have a BLOG!!

So I found out that everyone in the family has a blog site so I thought I should make one too! Well Paul and I are doing well, we manage the Days Inn in Rexburg, Idaho. Mckenzie is 2 1/2 and a little monster, but oh so cute! I have a little under a year left of school, almost done, finally! I will be getting bachelor of Science in Theater and Speech Education, and a minor in Art Education. Paul is going to school for History Education, minoring in political science ed. We love it here, and it has snowed all day long! It's still only September for goodness sake! Oh well, we are all bundled up inside! Hope everyone is doing well, we love you all!
