More projects
Paul posted all the silly star wars posts, he is quite proud of them. He bought us two light sabers on clearance at radio shack and I must say, they are really fun! Below are my latest two projects for watercolor class. My teacher actually didn't criticize them too badly, which is surprising for her ( the lady who only likes fruit bowls and landscapes) but I still have to change a few things before I get graded on them. Still, I quite like them.

Masks
These are my first two Masks that I have made in my Theater puppet/mask class. It is way fun and I love doing it! The first one is my forest goblin. Second actually isn't done yet. We are performing the little old lady that swallowed a fly for an elementary school in a couple weeks and I am the goat. Each of us was assigned a color for our animal and mine is red so that is why it pretty much looks like a devil mask, but it is a goat! I will post another picture once it is done but I think its coming along..the eye holes are going to be covered with sheer fabric so you don't focus on them and it has more painting to be done.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!
Ok so I know every girl usually hates Valentine's Day but I always loved it ( mainly because even in high school I almost always got something :P) but you really can't not like it when you are married! I got these beautiful flowers delivered to me today, what a good husband, he is trained so well! They came with chocolates from a local candy store too which are really good! And then there is a picture of Kenzie with her Valentine's day blanket which she just loves. She is also getting a little dollhouse tommorow when we go out because she doesn't have one and is really getting into the doll stage.

School Projects
I have all art and theater classes this semester so I am doing a lot of projects. Here are just a few that I finished these past few days. The first one is a still life I did for watercolor class. It use to look a lot better but my teacher painted on it and made me change it to was she wanted and so now its not as pretty, but I better still get an A! Second is a sky picture for watercolor class with some little faeries in it. I like that one but I don't like that my frame cut off the tree that was there! The next two are costume designs for my costume class for "As You Like it" and the bottom one is also for that class and it is just 1700s dress.

It's the end of the world as we know it.....
Ok so it is absolutely freezing here and last night we got about a foot of snow! Don't we have enough?!?! The county next to us has been declared a disaster area because there is so much snow and people are having accidents everywhere, the city keeps blocking our driveway with snow, its just insane here! I think once spring comes we are all going to have a huge flood because of all the snow! Anyway, the first picture is Kenzie playing in her toy basket. Second is this really pretty photo we bought of the Rexburg Temple. Last ones are the parking lot, fence, and swimming pool at the hotel, looks like fun huh? I have to laugh when people ask if we have a swimming pool because technically we do but pretty soon you would never be able to tell!! That and if you tried going in there you would pretty much be frozen there till spring.

Monkeys, Ponies, and Cocoa Bean!
It's been awhile since I posted anything. Things are going well for us, just stressing with school and work. Mckenzie is so cute though, as usual. The first picture is her monkey stuffed animal which she likes to carry on her back. Then we have her being oh so cute with the camera. Next one is her pushing her My Little Pony baby in her stroller. And the last one is a cup from this great new place that just opened in town called "The Cocoa Bean". They are calling it the Mormon Starbucks! It is imported cocoa beans from somoa in lots of flavors of hot chocolate and then they have 20 flavors of huge cupcakes to go with them. I got raspberry vanilla hot chocolate and a red velvet cupcake, it was so good! We are taking a field trip there next week in one of my theater classes, he he!!!
